| 223823 | 2004-03-20 03:38:00 | Hi there, I have an old comp here which was a family members, it has been sitting for a year or so. When I turn it on, the power supply fan goes, the hard drive starts "spinning", and makes a noise for a few seconds as though it is working, then nothing else. Screen is blank (totally) at all times..any ideas? It is an old machine but though it would be okay as a spare for emails etc. The p/s is a Hyena HP-200. Thanks for any advice you may have...:) |

| 223825 | 2004-03-20 08:42:00 | Probably a good idea to check the basics... did it work for you the last time you switched it on a year ago? Is the monitor plugged into the graphic card? does it have a graphic card? Does the monitor have a seperate power plug, plugged into power source? does monitor have it's own on/off switch? etc |
