| 224060 | 2004-03-21 00:54:00 | Hi, Just installed early version of WinXP - previously 2000 Pro - disconnected a second HDD (NTFS Dynamic) before installing XP - once setup I shutdown and reconnect the IDE connecter then rebooted expecting the partitions to be detected and installed - this has not happened. Opened Computer Management Console and then Disk Mgmt - the disk is there but it has a caution (yellow ! triangle) and says it is foreign - no partitions are shown. I have done this with 2000 many a time - why doesn't XP want to play nice?? Please Help |
