| 224482 | 2004-03-23 09:14:00 | I've almost downloaded sp2 (dialup overnite and a bit more :) ...) Anyway I was thinking I might ghost my hdd to another one......install it on the puter.......and then install sp2 to see what it'll do........thought I might leave the original hdd on the puter too and set it to dual boot to 'original or SP2' system........anyway heres a question........I realise that it's illegal to install the system I have on two puters at the same time .........BUT........is it illegal to install it twice on the same puter at the same time ???? |

| 224483 | 2004-03-23 09:44:00 | Since you cant run both at same time, its ok to have as many installs you like. What does the EULA say? OEM version? Corp.Ed? | peter.jonsson (3024) | ||

| 224485 | 2004-03-24 10:59:00 | well actually since I"ve simply imaged the drive to anohter one the only change is a hardware change, (new hdd), which in fact windoze did recognize when I first booted but didn't seem to care about.........ANYWAY I've now installed SP2.......theres some new functionality in the firewall with it allowing you to configure it to some extent and not much else that I've noticed ...........yet..................anyone got any ideas what I should be lookign for in changes......etc ??? |
