224355	2004-03-22 08:11:00	Hi there! I have XP Home on a computer and (by expensive mistake!!) bought XP Pro instead of XP Pro Upgrade. Now for the future I don't really mind having XP pro CD so I don't really want to return them and go through all the hoop-la-la of trying to exchange them. So my question is (oh knowledgeable ones) is this: If I now try and install XP Pro 'over' XP Home, will it just 'upgrade' it, or could it start the slippery upgrade slope??? 224356	2004-03-22 08:40:00	It will do the upgrade just fine. The only difference between the Pro and the Upgrade Pro is that you need a prior version of Windows CD with the upgrade so that it will allow it to install. The Pro (non upgrade) will allow it with a prior version or just from a blank drive with no prior Windows CD.	Big John (551)
