| 224262 | 2004-03-21 23:11:00 | Hi Folks! Yesterday I tried to open my trusty Pegasus email client and it warned me that someone else was already using it. I tried again and clicked on "continue" to override the message, since I knew that no-one was. Then I got three error messages about winpm-32.exe causing an error in itself and in a windll file. I can't access my email! I tried re-installing Pegasus (v4), but got the same message. Ran a thorough scandisk, no problems, but still no email. Eventually, I reloaded Windows (ME), but still had this problem. Logged into the internet this morning to find some tech support for Pegasus, and found our default home page had been changed to some search engine called "Locators.com". Does anyone know if there's a connection here, or if there's something else I should try to fix my email programme? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Joe Davies |

Go to the forum's Spyware FAQ (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) and follow the instructions for downloading and running Adaware and Spybot. If they do not fix your problem run through the other suggestions as well. | tommy (2826) | ||
