224823 2004-03-24 07:07:00 I was just wondering if there was an adaptor for a Firewire to USB2.0 connections. I want to link an Ipod which only has a firewire connection to my PC which only has a USB connection.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

224825 2004-03-24 07:43:00 Google suggests that they are available.

Look here as well:

224826 2004-03-24 08:20:00 Thanks . . .

The ipod is a gen 2 and only has a firewire connection and doesn't have the dock connection needed for that cable (as I understand it) .

I was just hoping I'd be able to find something that would allow me to connect to the ipod through its firewire port without having to install a firewire card .

Thanks for your help though, if anyone else has any suggestions they would be appreciated as well .

224827 2004-03-24 09:51:00 As I said, USB - firewire is available overseas, as a cable adaptor.

Use Google.
At least you will find one, you may be able to purchase direct ($US20?)
