224798 2004-03-24 05:12:00 About every fortnight I get a message with blatantly sexual over tones....I have just received one from a person who is calling him/her self LAWANDA S. Summers........followed by their address. I know never to reply and some where I have an idea there is some place we can refer these addresses for investigation...but please WHERE... olldaddy76 (2539)
224799 2004-03-24 07:09:00 One word the delete key or get your self Mailwasher ( google for it) & bounce the Spam heheh stu140103 (137)

224801 2004-03-24 07:21:00 Just give them all the one-finger salute Olldaddy, as there is nothing you can do about them. In fact you are doing quite well if you only get one a fortnight - one of my accounts gets at least a dozen a day! :D
One-finger salute = delete key.

Here we go again.

Xtra is the only ISP in New Zealand, thats right... every single person uses Xtra.

224805 2004-03-24 09:24:00 Olldaddy asked for "some place" to refer the spam to.

I use Xtra.

I replied with information I'd seen there.

Anyone else could've supplied alternatives - as you could've, instead of merely blasting Xtra.

Constructive criticism is another thing, of course...

224806 2004-03-24 10:56:00 Xtra will not respond to emails unless you are an Xtra customer so what point is there even mentioning their spam reporting address when olldaddy could be with any one of dozens of other ISP's .

WTF has made a valid valid point and anyway it is generally a waste of time reporting spam so to suggest that this in some way might help get his problem resolved is completely misleading .

The best option as already mentioned is to ignore and delete, or change your email address if it is a real problem
