224796	2004-03-24 04:46:00	Hi All. In my office, I have created several macros for myself, that simplify a lot of repetitive tasks in MS Word. Several colleagues are also interested in using these same macros. Each user has their own Normal.dot. Currently, when another user wants to use the same macro I use, I export the macro to a .bas file, and then from the users machine, I import this file. If I make any improvements or changes to the macro, this process has to be repeated so they have the same updates. My question is, is it possible to write a macro that will automatically import the .bas file. This would enable me to simply export the .bas file after any changes, and the users would be automatically have the update. Thanks in advance for any help.	Silentlord (3114)
224797	2004-03-24 05:57:00	It might be possible for Word on each machine to be set to look for a macro library file on your machine. I'm totally ignorant of Word (:-)), but it seems a logical feature for a word processor "often" used in networked machines in a business environment. The experts will know. Of course, this relies on your machine being both running and not displaying a blue screen.:D (That's why servers were invented).	Graham L (2)
