224701 2004-03-23 23:39:00 I have just installed Antivir, the free antivirus program. Every so often it tells me that a small entertainment programme I downloaded called "stress" contains "code of the virus joke/stress reducer". As far as I know this is a harmless free humour is programme. I have deleted it according to the instructions on the antivir but the warning still comes up. Is there a conflict? Or do I have a virus? 224702 2004-03-24 02:41:00 What does the stress program actualy do? If its a hoax type program then antivir could just be warning you its not real. bmason (508)
224703 2004-03-24 02:54:00 What version of Windows are you running?

When AVG keeps warning about a virus it has detected in Win XP it usually means that it can see it in System Restore but cannot clean it until SR is disabled and the computer rebooted. Re-enable SR after AVG has done its clean.

224704 2004-03-26 04:36:00 This is embarrassing, stress is just a little program that which you fire a flamethrower or a submachine gun, or bang a hammer, or put termites on the screen to eat holes in it. It's just a fun thing, and I have had it for years without any great problem with either Norton or AVG or whatever virus program I've had saying anything about it all. Bumfluff (3523)
