| 224693 | 2004-03-23 23:06:00 | Hi. I want an external backup capacity of about 500 megs and would like one of those USB type media. But there's such a plethora of makes out there I'm buggered for choice. Can anyone recommend one that's good value per meg? Thanks |

| 224695 | 2004-03-24 03:56:00 | Unless you need the very small size, you're going to find CD-RW much cheaper. All the flash memory formats are over $1/MB as far as I can see. Anything which costs several hundred and rattles in a matchbox makes me nervous. ;-) CD-RW are in the area of a few cents/MB. You can buy a CD-RW writer in a box with a USB interface. |
