| 225609 | 2004-03-28 07:52:00 | Nothing, I Have done nothing yet. I have been told a CD/Dvd unit in the Computer will not read a DVD-Ram disk whithout special software or a special writer This is by the Agents for the panasonic DVD-ram recorder. Yet I have read it somewhere that there is software that enables the Cdr\dvd player in the Computer to read and view dvd/ram disks as long as they are dvd- All I want to do is be able to watch some thing that has been recorded on the DVD\RAM on my Computer then I will decide what to do with it next, maybe save it to a CDR so then I can reuse the data I saved on the DVD_RAM. The cdr's are cheaper but as I only want to save fragments of the local news to cd there will be ample space on the cdr's Cheers |

If you dubbed it to the DVD then it should open up as a normal DVD in any DVD player. However if you recorded it to the DVD then it uses a special format and you will have to open the correct file manually to be able to view the movie. |
