225595 2004-03-28 04:15:00 I have a aopen 4048.My dad has put a frame around it so that it makes it an external modem with a usb2 port.
Im running windows 98se.My dad sent me a floopy disk containing a driver so that the computer can recognize that it is an ide to usb cdwriter.
I have lost that floopy disk and i was wondering where i can retrieve that driver online.
I just can't find it.If i format my computer will windows98se fail to read my cd writer?ITs an internal modem but has been modified to be an external.

225596 2004-03-28 11:54:00 Probably best and easiest to get your Dad to email the files to you, it is only a tiny download.

Write them to a floppy to use, but keep a copy of the files on your HDD for future use should you again lose the floppy.
