| 225524 | 2004-03-27 20:33:00 | Did someone here say that Xandros was available on a PC MAg cover cd? I wont mention the name of the Mag but I have searched high and low without success. Is it on back issue? Any ideas? sam m |

| 225529 | 2004-03-27 23:08:00 | Yeah, I did :) It's on the cover CD of PC Authority (April Issue) which generally comes out in late March so it will be in a store near you soon. It is onlt the "standard" edition (without Crossover Office) but that's no surprise as Crossover costs US$60 and big deal, unless you NEED to use a Windows app (in which case you are probably earning money using it so you can pay for Crossover :) ) then it is still an easy to use mature Linux desktop (Debian based woot woot!) But it is FREE (as in no finanacial outlay:) ) So yeah, I'll be checking it out but doubt it will turn me away from Libranet (http://www.libranet.com) which is an awesome distro. |
