| 225558 | 2004-03-28 03:45:00 | Is there any way that the standard download program in IE can be disabled so that only GetRight will work? Some times the website chooses GetRight, sometimes the standard download. I'm sure I saw someway of doing this when I was fiddling aroung recently, but i can't find it. | 225559 | 2004-03-28 04:06:00 | nope, you weren't dreaming. in internet explorer goto "tools/internet options", then click on the security tab. next,click "cutom level" for internet security settings, scroll down a little bit and select disable for "file downloads" bingo. hopefully now getright will take over all the downloads. one more thing, can't you hold shirft will clicking download llinks to force getright to do it. have a look through the settings. dan |
