| 225719 | 2004-03-28 22:33:00 | How do you do this? I have XP home, but when I power it up, no 'press blah to enter bios setup' warning things shows itself. Is it disabled so un-techish people dont screw up the bios? And another thing; I have integrated graphics on my computer, and it says the amount of RAM dedicated to it can be changed, but how? It is an ASUS notebook. Thanks! |

| 225720 | 2004-03-29 00:02:00 | The graphics RAM allocation is changed in the BIOS. Usually the keys to enter the BIOS are either F2 or Delete - if you tap either of these keys repeatedly just after turning the machine on it should go into the BIOS. Alternatively the manual should tell you how to do it. The BIOS is completely independent of OS - it doesn't matter if you're running WXP or W3.11 on the same machine, access to the BIOS is no different. |

| 225722 | 2004-03-30 02:16:00 | It was actually F2. I kept hitting all of those, and then I got the BIOS, I changed the amount of RAM dedicated as well. I am going to get 256 more megs so I can play games better. |
