| 226211 | 2004-03-31 09:12:00 | Picked up a call from a polite Sky rep. He said they were offering the Rialto channel for free for a week. Thereafter, it's only $1+ per week wohoo! Then came the kicker. You have to tell them if you don't want it otherwise it stays on. I said I'm not interested and definitely not impressed with the "opt out" deal. | 226212 | 2004-03-31 09:27:00 | Should be kosher under the FTA. It would be different if they enabled it without gaining your consent, and then charged you if you never opted out. What they offer is an added subscription that you can choose to cancel. Just like readers digest et al have done for years. |
