226037 2004-03-30 12:21:00 Picassa!
I've tried many such proggys for the easy transfer of pics from camera. quick fix & email etc & this one is fantastic.
Plug the camera into the USB a box automatically pops up & transfers all pics to a folder in My Pictures or whatever folder you specify.
Craete Photo websites, CDRom Slideshows etc.
Compresses huge Images to managable email sizes & much more
Most proggys that come with cameras are a couple of years old & rubbish

226038 2004-03-30 14:42:00 hi
i assume you can see the cam as an removable drive when you plug it in with the usb
if so drag and drop is fine
i don't use the bundled software with my s7000 as it is so limited
i just have a short cut on my desktop to the file folder in the cam and one for the folder i keep my pics in
i just plug the cam in , open both folders using the short cuts and copy and past
as for the resize thing if you don't have other editing software the finepix viewer that came with your cam has a resize function under file/batch process
it does ok

226040 2004-04-06 09:23:00 Hmmmm... Great photo Beetle.

And I thought Wanganui was just a flat wet place with lots of the tangata whenua liberating bits of swamp. Well well well.

And you appear to have a huge crematorium too, judging by the size of the chimney.

It's a dying business tho :D

it is very wet here at moment definitly.

i am just giving another post to say i am so pleased with the camera i (we) purchased so easy to use, and very handy. should have got one a long time ago.

the test will be this weekend how well i do and what sort of pics i get, as at the moment, it is so wet it will be slop city..... and wader material for all involved, spectators and race people.

may need to take a swim ring......:D

we have certainly got a Winter rivival going here, recently.

pleased with the pics i have taken so far, and hubby's effort at taking some to....

also would like to say thank you to all who helped me, information wise and also the good humour, patience you have shown me over this subject and question time i have given you all.
And by the looks of it, i have actually helped more than just me.
