| 226832 | 2004-04-03 02:54:00 | Hello, I have several web pages I visit daily just to look at a small part of the page, for example, just the forecast image of the xtra.co.nz page, or just the "Network Status" information from my ISP's webpage. Does anyone know of a program that would help me compile all these small parts of various pages onto one Custom Page for myself? Thanks, Donald. |

| 226833 | 2004-04-03 03:27:00 | well a simple way would be to make your own web page (it can be kept on your pc) which links to the various bits you need. | tweak'e (174) | ||

As tweak'e has said you could make yourself a webpage with the links to your favourite sites and use that page as your homepage but I would find it much easier to simply use Opera or Firefox as your webbrowser and have it save your pages as a "session" so that one click opens them all at once for you . Or, as I often do, you could leave the pages/tabs open when closing the browser and have them reopen when the browser is started again . If you would like to check out Opera have a look at this page ( . opera . com/features/" target="_blank">www . opera . com), in particular "Session Manager" or for Firefox have a look at their explanation for Tabbed Browsing ( . mozilla . org/products/firefox/why/#tab-browsing" target="_blank">www . mozilla . org) . |
