| 226410 | 2004-04-01 03:51:00 | Cmanz No Longer Providing Warranty Assurance The Computer Manufacturers Association of New Zealand (CMANZ) has advised that as from April 1, 2004 the association will no longer be providing a warranty assurance scheme for it's members. This change in policy has occurred due to a reduction in membership and the higher than expected financial burden exerted on the association's assurance fund by the failure of the PC Company Limited. The assurance fund is still in place for desktop PC's with the CMANZ badge sold prior to April 1, 2004. |
