| 226893 | 2004-04-03 21:57:00 | ILL> You'll wanna build the support as modules so you can run: modprobe card=WX radio=YZ Install TVTime and xawtv (I'd recommend using TVTime, but you'll want the --scan functions from xawtv). There's less hope out there for the bt8x8 based chips. I never fully got mine working. I bought one of the DSE TV-Tuners for about $79, and it worked fine out of the box with my (at the time) 2.6.0-r1 kernel (This Tuner is based on the Philips Saa7134 chipset). If you've just bought the card recently and have little joy with it, you _should_ be able to return it. Hope this helps Chill. |
