227034 2004-04-04 02:52:00 Anybody have any thoughts on how I could best set up some sort of ftp service, allowing certain people (friends of mine) to upload and have access to certain files on my pc? im talking a small few people and small but fairly often exchanges. Would it be possible to turn my pc into a server cheaply or freely? jupi8 (4244)
227035 2004-04-04 02:54:00 Can I use something like Aceftp to do this? jupi8 (4244)
227036 2004-04-04 02:57:00 there are a few ftp sever software around. fairly simple to setup, its been way to long since i've used one so i won't recommend any. just make sure the access is passworded ;-)

the simplist way is just to use instant messageing.

227037 2004-04-04 03:05:00 Cheers,
instant messaging is probibly the most efficient way in my case, I am still kinda keen to maybe work something else out. Bit of a mission for project for my self lets say.
Thanx tweak'e
