| 1359892 | 2013-11-14 22:54:00 | I need to export layers in Photoshop as a bunch of PNG files, with excess transparency trimmed out. However the built-in script is useless at this and includes junk from other layers. Does anyone know how I can do this? | pcuser42 (130) | ||

The entire point of layers is that you can work on single components of a piece of work without effecting the rest of it. So in short photoshop doesn't have functionality to export single layers because its not really necessary as that is not what layers are suppose to do. Due to this the only way to do it would be to make all the layers (that aren't the one you want to export) hidden. This can be achieved by pressing the little eye icon on the layer in the layers panel. Then when you export all the layers they ones that are hidden will not show up. |
