1359468 2013-11-11 05:42:00 Every time I try to access videos I have previously viewed, plus new ones - using the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox - I get absolutely no sound. There's a small cross beside the sound control under the video screen, where there used to be sound waves.
I would really appreciate any and all suggestions as to why this has happened. I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro C850 running Windows 7, and use NOD32 (64-bit version)... Tidy_Tony

1359471 2013-11-11 18:57:00 Can you get any sound at all? Or is it only YouTube giving the problem? CliveM (6007)
1359472 2013-11-11 19:06:00 When you hold your mouse cursor over the speaker that has the X what word(s) show

Example --- I muted the sound:

1359473 2013-11-12 02:16:00 Had a similar problem with Youtybe sound, somehow the volume control had set to zero, not mute. Whenu (9358)
1359474 2013-11-12 03:42:00 Have you tried dragging the little bar to the right of the 'X' all the way to the right? The new changes on Youtube appear to have broken a lot of the sites functionality. I can no longer click on the 'X' to unmute videos. icow (15313)
