| 1359206 | 2013-11-08 06:08:00 | I'm trying to change some icons in devices and printers (in 8.1), using this (msdn.microsoft.com) But it brings up an exception when I go to use it in devices and printers. Pics attached. Does it need .net framework 2 (which is installed)? If it does why does it bring up this exception, when it's installed? Anyone know? Is it compatible with Win 8.1?? |

Thats for W7 Try this-- here (social.msdn.microsoft.com) According to a couple of the posts, the ones with Ticks, you should be using W8 WDK (first & third Blue box with Tick has a link to the files) Be aware its a large download - The download states its 4GB of disk space |
