1338133 2013-04-23 00:10:00 It looks like National is going to need a coalition partner.

If you were running National's campaign would you be thinking about

Act
Conservatives
Maori Party
NZ First

Going solo ?

1338135 2013-04-23 00:28:00 It's really true that:

Policticians only know

RIGHT and LEFT;

and they don't know what's

RIGHT and WRONG.

1338136 2013-04-23 00:31:00 I'd go with NZ First and Conservatives. The other two are sinking ships... Chilling_Silence (9)
1338137 2013-04-23 00:37:00 Yes I'd definitely stay away from Act - John Banks with his brain fade is toxic.

Not that I am a a fan of them, but I'd be pushing the Conservatives.

That's why I voted for No threshold for MMP. 100 seats and done on straight percentages.

Maori, are they up to anything at all
NZ First, should go with the Conservatives

1338140 2013-04-23 02:40:00 I also agree National should go with NZ First and the Conservatives. I think the Conservatives will make a good showing at the next election. They should ditch Dunne and Banks.
I don't think Labour has any chance with Shearer as leader, he may be a nice guy but is not strong enough against Key. I shudder at the thought of a Labour/Green Government.

1338141 2013-04-23 02:55:00 I'm a pretty big fan of keeping state and religion separate, but even with that in mind the Conservative party is probably the best of a pretty average bunch. Alex B (15479)
1338142 2013-04-23 03:50:00 :crying It’s a scary situation isn’t it?

I find it akin to having to cross the Tasman and your choice of transport is 6 different Railway Locomotives and an 8’ Dinghy.

Realistically, what chance have you got?

I got a brochure in the mail the other day from the Conservatives whom I was contemplating, but, it was all about catering for, and appeasing, the “Shirt Tail Lifters” so that was the end of them. We’ve far more serious issues at foot than 10% of the population claiming to be normal.

So, for me the only glimmer (I know, an exaggeration) of hope seems to be Winnie. (the 8’ Dinghy) :o
