| 1338126 | 2013-04-23 02:00:00 | Surface is also nice. If price is no issue then a Surface RT would be a really decent tablet, but if you are worried about cost then the Nexus 10. Surface is comparable with the iPad. Although you ask which is "better"... other than our own ideas it would be good to know what you'd want to use it for, that way we can think of some pros and cons for your situation. I'm personally not going to recommend an iPad off the top of my head, however if you have a few iOS devices then that might be the more convenient/appropriate choice. |

| 1338128 | 2013-04-23 02:50:00 | Here is a Nexus 10 review ... www.omgchrome.com Personally, I have not seen one in the flesh. The super hi-res is the selling point of this tablet, but any gadgets without a micro-SD card slot is a deal breaker for me though. |

| 1338129 | 2013-04-23 03:19:00 | Is there a better tablet than the iPad? Anything that isn't a noname $99 special :P Really, though, it comes down to preference and usage requirements. Personally, I immensely dislike the iOS interface and illogic, and would much prefer any decent Android or Windows 8 tablet - Asus or Samsung in particular. Some people really like their iPads, because marketinglol, and that's a personal choice. |

| 1338130 | 2013-04-23 03:24:00 | "Better" is a matter of opinion and difficult to answer for someone else. People who have iPads swear by them and Apples locked down eco-system does make for a very stable and consistent experience. Android tends to be more versatile and open in my opinion, especially in terms of hardware features where you can shop around for a tablet with the ones you want. Both are great platforms in general through. Myself I have an Asus TF300 transformer with a keyboard and while it's not perfect I am pretty happy with it. I chose this one because I wanted a keyboard and because it has a full size USB host port as well as SD and micro SD support. The down sides of this tablet to me are the power supply which is fiddly and which I managed to break on the first day (it's now sellotaped together) and the power on sequence which makes you hold the power button in for what seems like forever before anything happens. I use it for web browsing, E-mail, Media playback, and as a bedside alarm clock. It's great at all of those things. |
