Even sadder is the fact that when I went to have a quick google search to see some of his other work I couldn't really get much. Mostly portraits of him and lots of Dark side moon rip off/re makes. Always sad when a designer goes, they take their own little influence on the world with them :( |

I still have a Jethro Tull "Thick as A Brick" tabloid album with its pages, story, lyrics, and sheer presence. And the Rolling Stones "Through the Past Darkly" cover which is octagonal - but don't think I've got Sticky Fingers with a real zip in the cover. Pity. Not to mention the Yes albums, Emerson Lake and Palmer plus other acid/rock record album covers. These still give pleasure to simply hold open and appreciate 30-40 years on. Remember triple albums? :D |
