1337425	2013-04-19 07:46:00	Just merged your thread ruup with this one. Anyways, Power is expensive, no doubt about it, but what's much more expensive is petrol. I spend almost $100 a week in gas, my wife spends around $50 a week... That's $600 a month! Our power bill? $160 maybe?! I'd prefer they focused on the *real* "expensive stuff" rather than the stuff that's an easy sell :p You could save $50/wk if you told SWMBO that as from Monday she has to walk to work! :devil Ken	kenj (9738)

Just trying to convince SWMBO to let me get a motorbike so I can have the best of both worlds :Dman or mouse chill? I asked my wife for one, took to long to get an answer. But they will not be selling direct to us they will sell to the distributors who will then sell to us, and who is going to pay for the 300 units that we will be getting for next to nothing? 1337433	2013-04-20 04:46:00	First of all, have you ever known a Government run enterprise to be efficient? The price of power in NZ is not high compared to other countries. Its the low purchasing power of the people that is the problem. If there was less waste the situation would be better. Dairy farmers should generate their own power, and even feed into the National Grid. They have a problem with tons of cow dung, polluting the land and water ways. If they turned the cow **** into gas they would have more than enough power, and the waste from the gas generator would be perfect fertilizer. Same goes for all the food scraps and **** from the Cities. In Tanzania I visited a large pig farm. All the power was provided by the pigs using a digester, very cheap and simple to make, and a Lister power plant. The Government should make NZ **** free, and use fewer resources! In rural North China the crap from the toilets is processed for gas and fertilizer.	mzee (3324)
