1359063 2013-11-07 22:17:00 Wifey had same call on Tuesday, to fix her W7 desktop, told her to keep up the chat because she could not understand the person on the other end, they then put on a proper English speaking person.

Needless to say he only spoke a couple of sentences to wife, then they hung up.

1359066 2013-11-07 22:43:00 one easier way to reset the password, and doesn't involve mucking about with linux or third party programs is to simply reset it Via a W7 Repair CD, roughly 2-3 minutes and its done.

Have a read of THIS Article (reboot.pro) -- When typing in the commands, the text on the site forgot to put in the \ in some places, but the Pictures relating to the command show it.

The said laptop that got scam~ware installed requesting a password
cycles through start up repair ~ can't repair
pushing F11 is suppose to open system restore functions but it just goes back to start up repair
