If you are talking about what I said, I didn't mean it should justify what he did. I just meant it isn't his fault if he has such a condition, it's his parents who are to blame for that. Maybe they should also be punished? |

| 1338557 | 2013-04-29 13:10:00 | I don't want to pay this mongrel's board and lodgings for 14 years or even 14 days. I suggest stripping him naked in the local civic square, lock him in stocks and administer 50 strokes of the birch. If that doesn't cure him of his nasty ways, the next sentence will be 150 strokes and so on until he is too incapacitated to offend again. Serves a double purpose: a humiliating punishment most people would never want repeated and at the same time provides free entertainment for the poor law-abiding citizens who have to work for their living (as opposed to stealing it from others) and who have been bled white paying to keep such thugs in jail instead of getting a decent health service for their taxes. Or lock him on the chain gang building the Cook Strait tunnel with pick and shovels and a wheelbarrow with a wobbly wheel. We might still have to feed him but at the end of it we should have an 8 lane tunnel with a dual-track railway line to facilitate visiting our South Island friends. |

He doesn't wish to kill, but his brain lesion is responsible for his anger and lack of control. Then the answer to the pc brigade would be to remove that lesion with whatever amount of brain required to fix it. Done. |
