My current comp has a 4x AGP slot im looking at upgrading my graphics card to either a 9600XT or a FX5700, both of which are x4/x8 agp how much of a performance loss will i experience because of the difference?? ie running at x4 instead of x8?? |

| 227533 | 2004-04-06 13:26:00 | carnie: I don't think the 4/8x performance difference is huge. Esp. compared to the cost of a new mobo. hamstar: My R9000 is only 4x in an 8x slot. No problems. I have also booted (as far as POST) with a 2/4x TNT2. |
