| 227735 | 2004-04-06 10:47:00 | Ok, MSN Messenger and Limewire both dont work and I can only see certain websites (not even google). I have the Dynalink A2020 router, do you think getting the new update will fix things? I need this fixed quick! I direct link to the patch file or how to fix it would be nice (as I cant get to the site). Thanks! |

Click Start -Run Type in: cmd now type: ipconfig /all Post the dns servers here. Can you ping the following: 210.48.100.45 pressf1.co.nz What sites work and what sites dont? Who's your ISP? What OS? Have you got any software such as Nortons Personal Securities etc? Firewalls? Made any recent software changes to your system? Cheers Chill. |

| 227737 | 2004-04-06 19:24:00 | Thanks mate DNS Servers: 202 . 27 . 184 . 3 Xtra . co . nz, pressf1 . co . nz, and selected forums work . Dynalink . co . nz, google . com and many other sites dont work . MSN Messenger and Limewire used to work but then just stopped working . I was installing WinMX and during setup it was trying to force its ports to go through the router but it failed, after it failed I uninstalled as it was no use to me anymore (I was gonna change the firewall settings of the router later to allow those ports, MSN and Limewire's ports, however, are still enabled) . After uninstalling WinMX, these problems arised . I did not have any Firewalls running at the time, and the same problems are on all of the computers on the network . |

| 227738 | 2004-04-06 19:33:00 | Ok I just checked again (6.30am) and google and the sites that didnt work are working now, along with limewire. It is just MSN Messenger now... Is posting my DNS server safe? If not please remove it otherwise sweet as :) |
