227768 2004-04-06 10:57:00 hi,

227769 2004-04-06 13:06:00 hmmm- I did the test twice, each time you get a new set of questions. First time was 10/10, second time was 7/10, they said I got the hazard identificaton one wrong (B - reversing car), the tyre tread depth one wrong (1.5mm) and the indicate 3 seconds before changing lanes one wrong.

When I go back in my browser I had chosen the correct answers!

Looks like the LTSA is trying to make us a nation of worse drivers lol.

227770 2004-04-06 20:28:00 That was bloody shocking!

Im on my restricted and got 7/10 wrong.

I dont drive motorcycles so how do i know?

It was OBVIOUSLY the hazard B why did i get it wrong.
The minimum depth is 1.5 over 3/4 of the tyre, i said that. ****

Their website is all ****ed up. Ya do it again, and now i got does the motorcyclist have to give way wrong.
</rant>

227772 2004-04-07 02:15:00 Yeah I had the same problems as everyone else when I tried it. The hazard question the tyre depth the indicating etc etc .

Anyway I emailed them, and they replied a short time ago to say that it has been fixed up.

I gave it a whirl and seems to be fixed up.........

227775 2004-04-07 13:52:00 I got 9/10 and don't even drive due to being blind (well half blind)

if i had it my way you would be made to sit that test every few years and anyone who got less than 8 would not be alowed to drive ever again.

227776 2004-04-07 22:30:00 Yes - not giving way or actually stopping at stop signs is the problem for a majority of drivers . And travelling too slowly along that stretch between Paekakariki and Pukerua Bay where there are no passing options for 10 km or more! Those useless individuals who can't get their late model cars beyond about 70kph really bug me .

"if i had it my way you would be made to sit that test every few years and anyone who got less than 8 would not be alowed to drive ever again . "

Absolutely agree :)
