227727 2004-04-06 08:39:00 Part way through running IE 6 I get a popup which says that SVCHOST.EXE has generated errors and is closing. From here on the IE6 session is somewhat disabled and does not run correctly. I am running IE6 on Windows 2000 SP3.

Any thoughts on why this happens and how to fix it. Thanks

227729 2004-04-06 09:15:00 My memory, which isn't all that good lately, is telling me it's malware, maybe a result of Msblaster worm. Suggest running all the usual AdAware, Spybot etc etc plus maybe the Symantec MSB removal tool.

Do u use a firewall??

Good luck
