| 227727 | 2004-04-06 08:39:00 | Part way through running IE 6 I get a popup which says that SVCHOST.EXE has generated errors and is closing. From here on the IE6 session is somewhat disabled and does not run correctly. I am running IE6 on Windows 2000 SP3. Any thoughts on why this happens and how to fix it. Thanks |

| 227729 | 2004-04-06 09:15:00 | My memory, which isn't all that good lately, is telling me it's malware, maybe a result of Msblaster worm. Suggest running all the usual AdAware, Spybot etc etc plus maybe the Symantec MSB removal tool. Do u use a firewall?? Good luck V... |

| 227732 | 2004-04-06 10:23:00 | time for a FAQ!!! SVChost.exe is part of windows and is no harm to anyone. SCVhost is a virus. note the order of the letters in the SCV or SVC for more infomation read the FAQ due on F1 in 20 minutes, will post it very soon |
