2004-04-06 06:25:00 | Whenever I launch IE I get this: A Runtime Error has occurred Do you wish to debug? Line: 24 Error: Access is denied on the Paradise homepage. Do any of you clever people out there know how to get rid of it? And why it occurs in the first place? Ta.

2004-04-06 06:35:00 | In IE: Tools Internet Options Advanced tick "disable script debugging" untick "display a notification about every script error" Apply OK

2004-04-06 06:36:00 | Any more specifics. Runtime errors are a dime a dozen. "Access Denied" sounds like a permission thing so perhaps start with you security setting. What error number goes with it? What version of windows and IE (include patches) is it. Cheers Murray P

2004-04-06 06:43:00 | Running Win XP Pro and IE6 sp2. There is no error number. The message is exactly as indicated in my previous post on this subject. I will try what you suggested in the meantime, ta. | karent (5222) | |
2004-04-06 06:47:00 | Omigod! I haven't changed anything and the #*&!@ thing has stopped giving me the error. Hooray. I hate computers. They make my head hurt! | karent (5222) | |
2004-04-06 06:57:00 | The problem is not yours to fix, its a problem with the coding on the web page. (and many web pages) But as you have no interest in such errors, you should turn off the reporting as above. You need to close IE after the change and re-open it for it to take effect.
