| 228314 | 2004-04-09 20:47:00 | I'm using ME,and have an external hard drive to store stuff on.A friend has a new XP pc,is it ok to transfer files from her machine to my hard drive?Hers will be NTFS setup.Just that we had a bit of trouble with a Cyber Patrol program yesterday that a sister had loaded, which blocked internet access until it was deleted,no uninstall! Thanks. | Neil McC (178) | ||

It does not matter what file system the XP is using. >Cyber Patrol program yesterday that a sister had loaded, which blocked internet access until it was deleted,no uninstall! That sounds like a permission problem with the configuration. There was no way of adjusting this? Not familiar with that program, but with those sort of programs you cannot make changes with what sites etc are allowed without entering in a password first to gain access to the control centre. |
