| 228237 | 2004-04-09 07:04:00 | um.just wondering.. there's a linix distro out there with only one function: a firewall is there other sorts of these distros?? like a file server or ftp.. maybe mp3 player simple distros that only specialise in one thing.. ..wanna make my old comp useful again.. |

Distro's for other specialised purposes may be found amongst the list here (http://www.distrowatch.com/). A search of this forum will also throw up other discussions about using Linux for firewalls, mp3 players etc. How old is your computer? You might be challenging it a bit when it comes to a mp3 media box. |
