| 228131 | 2004-04-08 12:53:00 | Merlin, are you actually able to get the update function in AVG to work? I can't get it to connect - keeps timing out with a message that says cannot establish an internet connection. Updating by downloading off the website is a pain. Any ideas? J :D |

| 228136 | 2004-04-09 03:56:00 | Jester: I had been having heaps of problems with the update (Auto) so tried manually, hell not much better. So I tried during the day (NZ) and low and behold for the last couple of weeks not a problem. I have mainly downloaded manually instaed of auto, it just seem eaisier that way now, and seeing as Im on the internet daily, just bookmarked the page and there it be. Just make sure after downloading manually to restart AVG (Avg Run-AntiVirus) not (Run AVG Control Center). Fell in there a few times (Think Godfather straightened that out for someone a while back). cheers merlin-nz ;-) |
