| 228374 | 2004-04-10 07:22:00 | hi all, well i just bought a tv tuner card and i have set it up and its running but when i try to record any videos or tv shows through it i only get video in the end file and no sound, have i setup sumthing wrong? Thanking you in advance, v.K |

| 228375 | 2004-04-10 07:49:00 | make shure that you have selected linein for recording (i'm guessing tthat there is a cord going fromt he tuner to the line in) then try. You willl need to open up volume control, then go file, properties and switch the view to recording. ILL |

| 228376 | 2004-04-11 05:31:00 | Thanks for the reply, i have selected Line in for recordin, but i dont have a cord going from the tuner to the line in, is that cord meant to be internal or external as i have setup the internal cord that is attached from the tv tuner to the motherboard but i dont have an external one. | 228379 | 2004-04-12 11:35:00 | If the TV card has only an internal connector to your sound card you will just have to select the right input channel on the volume control for your sound card/hardware. If you can hear the sound from the tv card in general then will you definately be able to record/capture that - check recording settings, volume control and the "record" channel in the program you are using to record/capture. |
