| 228739 | 2004-04-12 00:05:00 | How do I get rid of what I think are 2 trojan horse virus'?. They are: Startpage.EM and Dropper.Mute.A I've disabled system restore and rebooted and thought I'd got rid of the infected file but the computer will still on occasions, dial out of its own accord. Anyone else dealt with these? Thanks |

| 228740 | 2004-04-12 04:23:00 | Well for starters, have you run an up to date AV scan, or Adaware and Spybot S&D? These would be the minimum first step to take, but you could also Google those trojans and see if there are other removal methods available. It helps if you post your system details and what else you have tried before disabling System Restore. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
