| 228726 | 2004-04-11 23:54:00 | I've recently picked up Unreal tournament 2004 and I'm finding that my video card is freezing up. I updated all the various drivers, patches etc but I'm now finding that it seems to freeze after a short period of ANY 3D processing. Desktop apps run fine but I can't play my games anymore. Has anyone else had probs with drivers for this card or is this a hardware issue? (overheating etc...) |

| 228727 | 2004-04-12 07:42:00 | Keep in mind that these powerhouse video cards suck a lot of juice and can bring a pre-mature end to a less then capable Power suply unit. Still,its nearly impossible to diagnose without using known good parts. Have you had any prior driver issues? it maybe an idea to run an app to remove all video card drivers then install the ones that shipped with the card,then try a few games. |

I have had 3 fail so far and they do the same thing... Works fine in 2d and as soon as you run a game it locks up cos its over heating. |
