2004-04-12 05:07:00 | Agreed. I am on Jetstart (I upgraded, they started charging the usage, but they havent changed the speed.). This is when i logged onto Jetstream games. They dont place a limit, and my line was at abput 6 .8 Mbps at the time. I think the reason they say 2Mbps full speed a the site is because that is what many people will have to use. In the past it has been their minnimum and i guess people complained that their line speed was slower than their cousins...

2004-04-12 06:02:00 | My understanding is that 2Mbps is their minimum. If it won't make 2 they are not keen to install it. | wotz (335) | |
2004-04-12 06:17:00 | from what i saw on the site 2Mbs is telecoms minimum LINE speed for urban uses. i couldn't find anywhere it said the ACCOUNT speed was minimum 2mbs, mind you it never said a max either. good old telecom for ya. | tweak'e (174) | |
2004-04-12 21:53:00 | PoWa, of course I've cleared the browser cache. As you can see tweak'e, others are getting higher speeds than telecom's quoted speed. .. so I'm not talking rubbish. This is why full speed rocks, when it works... still no go on fixing my problem tho..seems to have degenerated into a discussion of what speed everyone is getting... Any more ideas for my problem please???

2004-04-12 21:59:00 | Of course I've cleared my browser cache. And I think you'll find from reading other posts on this topic that line speeds that I've been expecting are not unreasonable. That's why jetstream rocks. (when I can get it to work)... The topic seems to have degenerated into a speed discussion... Any more ideas for my problem????? cheers
