| 229179 | 2004-04-14 04:30:00 | Can anyone help me with a boot-up problem. Whenever I start my computer the start-up procedure stops after Windows XP start-up page appears, and then goes back to the beginning. This will continue indefinately cycling around. I have taken out the harddrive and checked it on another computer which indicates that it is working ok, I have also ran norton's anti virus through it and no viruses where detected. any clues anyone? |

Unfortunately you need to get into Windows to enable the error message to show . . . . Try booting into Safe Mode - after switching your computer on tap the F12 key until you get to a menu where you can choose Safe Mode . If the F12 key does not do the trick try F8 . Note: If your computer is a laptop you may need to use a different key so if this is the case post back with the make and brand of your computer . |
