Then some ****** comes along and decides to sell off all these state owned enterprises for peanuts and what we are left with is beans. And also a monopoly because it was the only one around. 229000	2004-04-15 09:24:00	Back in the days of my youth, we used slate boards & chalk. Letters were on paper & mailed. Airmail was Carrier Pigeon. For all the apparent faults of all/any ISP's & computer companies, I feel we have come a long way in a short time. Because they are a monopoly and my only connection is through Telecom. Sure I have Paradise as an ISP but the phone lines go through telecom, my jetstart first gets charged by telecom. Would I change if I had a choice? Dont know because I have never had the choice. We are outside the so called "main" areas here and telecom only put jetstream in because it was subsidised by our district council.	Big John (551)
