229134 2004-04-13 22:41:00 Still no word on the PSU here... the DVD writer should be a 16X writer... the graphics card should be an Gainward 5950U GT version or an 9800XT.

/end rant

Still... I wouldn't complain at all with a rig like that.

Lo.

229135 2004-04-13 22:47:00 on the side it says 9800PRO/XT, and ps is 550W, should have a look at there multi monitor setups with lcds, could be a 16x dvd writer but i dont think there are many of those around at the mo Budda (2736)
229136 2004-04-13 22:58:00 One question: Who are their suppliers? Growly (6)
229137 2004-04-14 01:44:00 I'd like to get one of those PuRam hard drives, nothing else. Where do you get them from?? Rest you can do yourself for 1/4 the price.

The rest of the machine is overclocked rubbish. Its hardly a supercomputer, that thing would barely break 0.5GFLOPS. Supercomputers are in the TFLOP range.

229138 2004-04-14 08:29:00 I didnt think it was a supercomputer... but I havent seen that kinda hardware around (3.8 Ghz, when did that come out ? o_0 - and what's the mobo? ) Growly (6)
229139 2004-04-14 22:02:00 lol, um yeah its not trying to be a super computer, just a real fast personal computer, maybe you should do some more research about what GFLOPs actually are ?

Growly: i read a bit more into the site and its really a overclocked 3.2GHz, but still not a bad machine, could probably be home built for a lot cheaper, but prob some good competition for alienware.
