| 228881 | 2004-04-12 11:46:00 | My computer is a PII/400, running Win98 During initial boot, I am told there is a "conflict I/O ports :378". This has only just happened and I can continue by presing F1, with no apparent effects - the hang in booting is annoying. I welcome any suggestions - hopefully it is an easy fix !! |

| 228882 | 2004-04-12 12:00:00 | At the error, hit DEL to go into setup. Choose "integrated peripherals", and check what the serial ports are set to. At the bottom of the screen there should be an option to reset to defaults (for the current page only), it should set it to something reasonable. |
