| 229447 | 2004-04-15 12:31:00 | I updated both Win2K and Win98SE and had an initial failure on each, then had to re-start each o/s twice after the compulsory re-start before the computer came back to normal. Been using Win2k for 3 hours now and it seems fine. Checked Outlook Express on both o/s and works fine. IE6 seems ok too. Rob. |

The problem definately arises with the install of the updates and in paticular the amount of time it seems to take to install (with me anyway), I will just keep trying i guess... I also just had a look to see if they appear in add/remove (the ones i supposedly managed to install) after reading this thread, but they don't seem to be there? |
