229430 2004-04-15 07:22:00 Transferring my old 40GB hard drive into my new (2nd hand) 1.4 Ghz Athlon system, I had to reformat it completely with fdisk and format to get it to work. I selected the option for the largest drive, but now my 40GB drive is suddenly only 22.4 GB.

Anyone know how to get Windows ME to read the rest of it?

229433 2004-04-15 15:49:00 Maybe you should check your jumper and make sure its not set in limited capacity mode. Blue_face (1148)
229434 2004-04-16 06:09:00 fdisk and format read it as a 22.4MB disk too.

I've checked the jumpers and they don't limit the size - just the "master" jumper present.

Any ideas?

Thanx!
