| 229372 | 2004-04-15 01:42:00 | Hi there: I have an old Philips TV that has a SCART connector on the back of the TV. I am in the market for a DVD player and was wondering if anyone knew an easy way to find out if there are any players around that will send signal to my TV via the SCART connector? | scott.walters (1268) | ||

The best bet in terms of Picture Quality, would be to get a DVD player that has "Component" Video out i.e. separate RGB channels, and purchase a SCART to Component cable to hook it up. Your SCART connector will handle Composite, Component and SVIDEO signal, so you could purchase any DVD Player on the market, and hook it up to your SCART Cable. |
