Yes it does play Far Cry but it takes more than just a Graphics card for the latest games to play well. You need good CPU speed and good amount of memory as well. |

| 229584 | 2004-04-18 22:37:00 | How often do you intend to upgrade your video card? 256mb of RAM on a video card is a waste of time unless you buy a 9800XT of FX5950. The FX5900 arent that great in comparison to ATI offering, although it does depend on how much you want to spend? The FX5900XT is great value for money at under $400 but the rest of the FX family are a waste of money. You should start to see the 9800pro drop under $500 soon. This would clean house with the FX5900 series, maybe not the FX5950. Just wait a few more months untill these new graphics card hit the market, they should offer really good preformance at a good price e.g Geforce 6600 whenever it gets released. Oh and how much system RAM do you have? anything less than 512mb will affect preformance. Oh and the P2 never made it to 2.10Ghz | Pete O'Neil (250) | ||
